Birth Doula Services

We provide customized labor and postpartum doula packages for you! All actual rates for services are discussed prior to, or at the first meeting and are included in our contract for services. Feel free to call or email us with any questions you may have.

One on one instruction and support focusing on mom/baby care, plus some good old fashion TLC. Let us give you a taste of the good life with in-home education and pampering.

One of our doulas will spend the day with you discussing baby care, infant massage, breast or bottle feeding, sleeping habits, bathing, diapering, cord care, circumcision care other basics. Plus special time devoted to mother care including, physical and emotional changes and expectations, dietary needs, massage, aromatherapy and other means of relaxation. This special Day of Relaxation can occur before or after the baby’s birth.

           Fees $250 a couple    

We provide a no-obligation initial consultation. Giving birth is an intimate event and we encourage you to meet with a doula from our staff to decide whether our services are right for you. We will come to your home for a complete prenatal consultation and give you the opportunity to discuss your birth plan and desires. You should also use this opportunity to decide if we are a good "fit" for one another. This meeting usually lasts about an hour and turns out to be a "mini" childbirth education class.

Our Doula Birth Service package includes 2 prenatal visits. The first visit is the initial consultation and the second visit is devoted to the preparation of the birth plan, questions or concerns and other issues that may arise during your pregnancy.

Your doula is available to you through unlimited telephone support during your pregnancy. Once you go into labor, she will meet you at the site of the birth, home or birth center.

Your doula will remain with you for 2 hours following the birth. She will assist you with the initiation of breastfeeding and will continue her care with a follow-up visit in your home 1-2 weeks following your birth.

Postpartum daytime doula services - are $28 per hour Monday - Friday and $30 per hour on weekends.

Daytime doula services focus primarily on providing comfort measures for the new mother, emotional support for the new family, guidance/assistance in infant care, preparing light snacks/meals, and light household chores.

Postpartum nighttime doula services - are $32 per hour Monday - Friday $35 per hour on weekends.

Postpartum Doula night care focuses primarily on baby care and set-up for next day care, while the new parents rest.
